In my case, I almost always buy real estate for free for a small portion of its market value, which makes it easy for my future buyers to get a lot.

How to find out who owns the property

How to write a compelling neighbor letter
Because your goal is to motivate your recipients to say Yes, you need to make sure your message contains some key elements of communication and persuasion.
The basic layout of neighbor letters
- Self-introduction
- Explain your intentions
- Provide attribute information
- Explain why they should act
- List the consequences of doing nothing
- Reiterate why this is a deal they can’t refuse
- Call the action (give them your contact information)

I’ve used the format for about three years and it does a great job of notifying every recipient with it Selected few Received this notice).
While I never kept exact statistics on this letter, I estimate I took the call about 20% of the time, which resulted in about 10% of the actual sales.

I haven’t kept any exact statistics on the execution of these letters, but overall I estimate it’s call rate closer to 35%, which ended up causing about 20% of sales.

Needless to say Neighbor letters are not magic bullets, no matter how beautiful they are or how worded. You will never know the situation of the person you are in contact with. You might give them what they have always wanted, or they might not care at all.
