Members of World Free Finance (WLFI), a cryptocurrency platform backed by U.S. President Donald Trump, and its family, have reportedly issued a ceasefire letter to the company responsible for creating Bitcoin wallets related to the president’s brand.
According to a June 5 Bloomberg report, WLFI sent the letter to the company that owns GetTrumpMemes.com and was behind the issuance of Trump Memecoin. The ceasefire notice was issued after the team behind the unkillable token market Magic Eden and Memecoin revealed a waitlist for a crypto wallet under the Trump name.
The report, Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, quoted a person familiar with the matter, who asked for anonymity because the letter was not publicly available at the time of publication.
Many U.S. lawmakers and industry leaders have questioned the president’s crypto-business, including his involvement in World Free Finance and its Stablecoin, USD1, and released individual members, which led to a dinner invitation to Trump’s golf club to participate in the top 220 holders.
Some Democrats in the House and Senate accused Trump of using his stance to profit from the cryptocurrency industry, and these claims have the potential to slow or stop progress in Congress’ digital asset-related bills.

On June 3, these two X posts about Magic Eden and GetTrumpMemes announced the wallet are still visible at the time of publication. However, Trumpwallet.com, which was previously registered on the waitlist, appears to be offline according to reports of stop letters.
