President Trump revealed a new detail on Sunday about the hyped UFC fight to be held on the South Lawn of the White House: It will take place on June 14, which is also his 80th birthday.
The president was intoxicated by the major events of the second semester of the United States (250th birthday, the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympics) in his speech in Norfolk, Virginia during a celebration of the Navy’s 250th anniversary.
“Next June 14, we will hold a big UFC fight in the White House, right on the ground in the White House,” he said.
The mountain has reached to the White House to confirm.
UFC fighter Conor McGregor said Wednesday he will fight in the game.
Last month, the White House confirmed to the hill that the event will include fireworks and light shows, fighters at the Lincoln Memorial and fan events scattered at the National Mall.
The UFC’s octagonal cage will be set up on the White House South Lawn to host the competition, which Trump made fun of for the first time in July.
The fight came together, UFC CEO, longtime Trump friend and donor Dana White said in August.
“The battle at the White House is in progress,” UFC CEO Dana White said in an Instagram live video on August 28.
“This will be one of the greatest and most historic sporting events in history, and President Trump presided over the event at the White House, which proves his vision to celebrate the 250th anniversary of his adult life,” Trump spokesman Steven Cheung told the Wall Street Journal last month.
