The White House withdrew Quintenz’s nomination as a member of the CFTC’s board and chairman, Politico reported Tuesday.
“It is a lifelong honor for me to be nominated as a CFTC host and pass the confirmation process,” Quintenz told Politico.
“I appreciate this opportunity and the Senate Agriculture Committee’s considerations,” he added. “I look forward to returning to my private sector efforts at an exciting time of innovation in our country.”
