Prince Andrew reportedly has been reportedly in his home Royal Lodge for his future,
Charles, 75, is said to have asked Andrew out for years and urged his scandalous siblings to move to the Frogmore cabin, a smaller, more modest house that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have recently vacated.
The Duke of York moved into Royal Lodge in 2004 and refused to move after a “cast iron lease” that lasted until 2078.
He currently lives in a 30-room mansion with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
According to Ephraim Hardcastle of the Daily Mail, there has been a disagreement on who provides for the external repairs needed for the luxury home.
“It seems that Andrew, who had a £7.5 million ($15.5 million) renovation fee when he received a 75-year lease in 2003, maintained the Home Office, but there was a rumbling controversy over the massive external repairs of those who were in charge of 30 rooms,” Mr Hardcastle wrote in his column.
“Andrew should be safe by 2028. If the boot is given at the end of the first 25 years of the lease, he has the right to partially discount his own elimination.”

Royal Lodges reportedly require about £5 million ($100.3 million) of maintenance per year.
Andrew is still determined to stay on the property, but it is believed that it will require “a major financial commitment every year.”
Robin Edwards of real estate buying agent Curetons told the Mirror that the cost of maintaining the Royal Lodge “from that time onwards will increase significantly over time and inflation.”
“Preparing staff alone would be a huge expense, as the estate could employ a house manager, butler, butler, chef and maintenance staff, which could easily cost £350,000 (about A726,000) and £500,000 (A10,300) per year,” he said.
“In addition, the garden will require a dedicated team of about four to six full-time gardeners to continue to pay attention to, adding another £150,000 ($300,000) to £250,000 ($519,000).

He added: “Utilities bills, including heating, electricity and water for luxury homes of this size, can easily exceed £200,000 ($a415,000) per year.
“Horticulture and landscaping will require consistent care, formal gardens, lawns, roads and trees require ongoing maintenance, which costs £100,000 ($a207,000) and £200,000 ($a415,000) per year.
“Insurance and taxation will also occupy a huge amount, with the building itself, content and public liability insurance increasing by about £50,000 to £100,000 ($A207,000) per year.
“In addition, conservation and restoration efforts to maintain strict legacy rules and standards may increase by £100,000 ($a207,000) to £200,000 ($A415,000) per year.”
Andrew resigned as a royal after being linked to American financier and child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Last year, Charles cut Andrew’s annual personal allowance (reported to be about $2 million) – after helping offset the financial burden of managing the $57 million property.
The Royal Lodge is reportedly required to maintain about £5 million a year.

Back in February, Andrew appeared a few days after a business meeting with the Chinese and British ambassadors, when he made public his so-called Chinese spies for several days.
Duke reportedly spent more than $14.1 million in repairs and renovations over the years to take over $1.5 million. His annual rent is reportedly $530,000.
The Sunday Times reported that the King did not renew Andrew’s private security team.
The monarch has been paying Andrew’s safety after the prince lost police protection in 2022.
The security team is said to have lost nearly $6.3 million a year.
At the time, a Buckingham Palace spokesman told Fox News numbers that the palace would not comment on “safety matters.”
Previous Sunday Times reported that Andrew had raised enough funds to stay in the Royal Lodge.
According to the media, the prince’s funds were approved by the Guardian of the private wallet, which came from “legal sources.”
