A Texas man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing in Mar-a-Lago early Tuesday morning and told law enforcement that he wanted to spread the gospel to President Trump and marry the commander-in-chief’s granddaughter.

Anthony Thomas Reyes, 23, was arrested by the Palm Beach Police Department for Trump’s “illegal entry” of the Mar-A-Lago club at a resort in Palm Beach, Florida, according to the Secret Service.

Shortly after midnight, the man zoomed in on the surrounding fence and triggered an alarm. U.S. Secret Service personnel detained him without any accidents. Palm Beach police responded to the scene and took personal custody, accusing him of committing a trespass. ”

There were no secret service protectors when the incident occurred, nor did Trump.

Reyes allegedly told law enforcement that he jumped onto the wall of Mar-A-Lago, talked about the “gospel” with Trump, and then married Kai Madison Trump, Donald Trump Jr.

According to police reports, Reyes was arrested in Mar-a-Lago on New Year’s Eve 2024 and was charged with breaking in Mar-A-Lago. Reyes was booked at the Palm Beach County Jail, court records show. He pleaded not guilty. The bond was set at $50,000 and the judge ordered him not to contact the president or any of his family.

The incident has been less than a year after Ryan Wesley Routh was accused of assassinating Trump on a golf course in West Palm Beach. Florida committed allegations of attempted first-degree murder and terrorism in early April.

Kai Trump is attending Benjamin School and promises to play golf at the University of Miami.
