Senator Tim Scott (RS.C.) refused to worry that President Trump is “too easy” to Russian President Vladimir Putin as the White House is committed to promoting a ceasefire between the Kremlin and Ukraine.
Senators on the Committee on Foreign Relations asked about some of the Pentagon’s criticisms, some of the Pentagon’s criticisms, some of the Pentagon’s criticisms, some of the Pentagon’s criticisms, some of the Pentagon’s transports, some of the Pentagon’s suspension.
Bream quoted the media, the export report said: “The White House not only stopped the planned weapons to send to Keeve, but also deliberately bypassed existing sanctions to enable Russia’s giant rosatom economic relief.”
Bream added: “What are your allegations that President Trump has become too easy against President Putin?
“Well, Shannon, the only thing I can think of is Hogwash,” Scott replied, adding that Trump’s predecessors – former Presidents Obama and Biden – took “to put President Trump in a bad position.”
“President Trump did what he has been doing, and that is to focus on solutions and find ways to end the conflict,” Scott continued. “We just heard him say Putin is killing thousands of people.”
He added: “That’s why he’s been communicating and trying to reduce the situation. Meanwhile, Secretary Heggs is focused on our responsibility to ensure Americans are safe at home and abroad.”
When asked if this is the best time to reserve the delivery of weapons to Ukraine – not Putin will suspend as an opportunity to expand the attack on Ukraine – Scott said he is completely confident in Trump’s ability to situation.
“There is no doubt that President Trump can trust to resolve some of the major conflicts around the world,” Scott said.
Scott also said he hopes to restore weapons after the Pentagon review.
“I believe President Trump can do this work. That means we start here. Levels of escalation around the world require Secretary Heggs to look at our weapons and make sure we are ready for defense.”
“I believe after that time, we’re back to providing the necessary resources,” Scott added.
