Tech billionaire Elon Musk’s response to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) was about celebrating waste of Tesla stock, calling the former vice president nominee “huge asshole.”
In an interview with Fox News’s Bret Baier, Musk was asked about the decline in the market, the recent vandalism at Tesla dealerships and criticism of his work with President Trump’s administration efficiency (DOGE).
He told Bayer: “If the dealer gets bombed, it will help.” Will this help Tesla? ”
“I mean, you have Tim Walz, he’s a huge asshole, running around the stage when Tesla’s stock price is up halfway, and he’s happy.” “It’s an evil thing. What a weird thing, what a asshole.”
Tesla CEO added: “Like, who gets joy from it?”
Earlier this month at a Wisconsin town hall, Walz said he strengthened his mood by looking at stocks from electric carmakers. He also used his time to criticize Musk, the huge labor cuts and federal funding freezes issued by the Trump administration and Dorje in recent weeks.
“I have this thing on my phone, and I know some of you know that on your iPhone. They have that little stock app,” Walz said at the time. “I added Tesla during the day to give me a little boost.”
Later, he went back to comment, thinking that he was just a “smarta–” and “joking”.
Still, Musk is against Minnesota Democrats, who appeared to be the voice of the party again after losing to Trump and Vice President Vance in November.
“Someone pointed out to him that, in fact, Minnesota pension funds are the main investor of Tesla. But he doesn’t care,” the tech tycoon told Fox News. “He’s so happy with Tesla’s stock.”
“To you, does this sound like a good person? I don’t think so.”
“Shark Tank” investor Kevin O’Leary also criticized Walz, calling the remarks “beyond stupidity.”
Back and forth, the Trump administration vowed to get to the bottom of the recent Tesla fighter, marking the attack as “family terrorism.” According to the Justice Department, at least three people have been charged.
Musk said he has confidence in the president to “follow” those who he pushes for what he says.
To show his support for senior advisers, the president even bought Tesla at a ceremony at the White House earlier this month.
