Israel concludes some Iranian rich uranium survives U.S. strike: New York

Israel concluded that some Iranian wealthy uranium survived the recent U.S. strike against the country, according to the New York Times.

A senior Israeli official told The Times that their country found that the U.S. and Israel attacks did not destroy a portion of Iran’s rich uranium, which Iranian nuclear engineers could still use.

The senior official was not concerned about Israel’s discovery of enriched uranium attacks in the United States last month, The Times reported. According to the New York Times, Israeli officials and other Israeli sources said any Iranian efforts to re-recognize uranium are likely to be seen.

The Times also reported that the official said that in 2024, Israel began to move towards military operations against Iran. Israel’s move follows what the country’s observation officials said is that Iran was moving rapidly in bomb construction through secret projects, The Times reported.

President Trump and his highest national security brass strongly opposed reporting after the U.S. strike, reporting that the Iran strike had restored its nuclear program just a few months ago. Trump insists that the plan has been eliminated.

“I think, I hope it’s over. I think Iran wants to meet. I think they want peace, I’m going to do it all. Now, if it’s not, we’re ready, willing and capable.” Trump answered a question about whether he thinks the Israel-Iran war is over.
