The Double Sunshine North property with a segment almost completed the pass at the auction, but agents said buyers could unlock $1.06 million in surprise with a minimum of final production.


Despite a keen interest, the Sunshine in the North Forest passed at the auction, but Agents said the right buyer could unlock six-figure surprises with just $15,000 worth of work.

Jim Christou of Victoria said buyers are bypassing the opportunity to rent the two units or live, while another unit lives.

Mr Chirstou said the low turnover rate of Sunshine North makes it difficult to find comparable sales, but also reflects the stability and attractiveness of the region.

“It’s a tense suburb. Once people move in, they don’t leave – even renters,” he said.

“We actually had more traction last winter, which was unusual, but I would feel the buyer’s confidence recovered.”

The property is still available for private sale.
