Premium apartments in Rozelle Village are now for sale, offering contemporary housing opportunities within a bustling community center.
Rozelle’s newest district, Rozelle Village, is built on the grounds of the former Balmain League club and offers a one-, two- or three-bedroom residence set up in the centre of Rozelle.
Known for its historic streets, harbour vision, old world architecture and close-knit neighborhoods, Rozelle has long been a favorite for those who love browsing the market and enjoying coffee around the corner.
Rozelle Village is owned by Perifa, part of the end-to-end operator Versatile Group, and will be developed in partnership with Mitsubishi Manor in Asia.
Leveraging the multi-purpose group’s extensive project delivery capabilities, the construction will be provided by Versatile Construction, a team known for creating large, technologically complex projects.
“The team brings together local expertise, international support, and proven development and construction delivery,” said Fabrizio Perilli, managing director of Perifa.
“By leveraging our internal capabilities, we can retain greater control over delivery and quality. We are committed to creating a truly great mixed-use area that serves both the people here and the existing local community.”
From former league clubs to a vibrant community, Rozelle Village is a new project within Sydney.
Rozel: A prosperous historic suburb
Known for its workers’ cabins and Sydney’s early industrialized homes, Rozel has transformed into one of the city’s most popular neighborhoods.
Rozelle is only five kilometers from the CBD and has an outstanding country style. It features leafy driveways, signature bars, restaurants and specialty boutiques.
According to Realestate.com.au data, median apartment prices in Rozelle have increased by 27% over the past five years, indicating strong growth and interest in the region.
“Rozel has something special,” Perry said. “It’s the sum of each park and Bayside Green, every independent business, precious restaurant or family owned institution.”
What is highly feasible in the suburbs is that buses, ferries and light rail are closely related to the city, making it easy to get off work and explore Sydney’s nightlife.
Rozelle also sees suburban investments at all levels of government, including the reconstruction of nearby Callan Park, the opening of West Connex and the development of a new metro station (planned in 2032). This suggests that the region is expected to undergo a larger shift.
The Rozel region is known for its rural-like community and traditional charm.
Living in the heart of a beloved community
Given the recent massive development approvals in the state, Rozelle Village will revitalize the former Balmain League Club location and create a new space for local communities.
“Rozelle Village will bring a new side to this unique interior,” said David Milton, managing partner at SRM Residential.
“This will be a village within the village, inspired by the recognition and love of the locals in Rozel.”
Not only are these homes high-end apartments, they also provide a real connection to the local community.
The project draws clues from the buildings of local landmarks such as the local landmarks, York Mansion and St. Thomas Church, which features contemporary brickwork and dark metal finishes.
These elements blend seamlessly with red brick arches and arcades.
The development will also be the premier public place in the suburbs.
“With at least 12 new retail and hotel spaces, Rozel Village will be a place to discover again and again,” Milton said.
“Expect daily convenience, cafes and restaurants, health and well-being, and malls to explore with these special necessities.”
At its core it will be a 1,400-meter square of public villages, shaded by trees and surrounded by restaurants.
With three new driveways and an all-round supermarket, Rozelle Village will feature a bustling retail area including boutiques, personal service and convenience.
It will pass the legacy of the former Balman League club and provide a new community club for football fans and families.
There are also three leases for community space and commercial purposes, bringing more life and diversity to the project.
Rozelle Village provides residents with warm community space and first-class private facilities.
Heritage style residence
227 new luxury homes in Rozelle Village are designed by Interiors of Studio SC and SJB, reflecting the architectural history of the suburbs.
“These residences are made with modern but timeless finishes and custom design elements that distinguish them from other developments – each apartment does feel like home,” said Charlotte Wilson, senior assistant at SJB and chief interior designer at Rozelle Village.
“From the moment you open the front door, you’re welcomed by the well-designed entrance vestibule, featuring a beautiful pattern threshold, a quiet pause, and a signal that you’re really back home.”
The house reflects the entrance to Rozel’s classic Edwardian and Victorian houses, while the marble stone hints at Italian immigrants who brought their own style to the region in the 1970s.
The collection of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses offers stunning views of the Sydney skyline, harbor, bay and mountains.
The custom designs at Rozelle Village Apartments are inspired by the rich architectural heritage of the region.
Rozelle Village has attracted a wide variety of potential buyers, with more than 40 apartments sold at the launch.
“We expect there will be many buyers from the decliners, rightists, professional couples and keen investors,” Milton added.
“The interests so far have mostly come from people who already know and love the inner west. There is a big deviation from owner occupation, many of whom want to trade in their inner west houses to provide a living in apartments with ease and comfort.”
Rozelle Village sales began last month and are available for interest through the Rozelle Village website.
