Former national security adviser John Bolton called President Trump’s Ukrainian strategy “incoherent” in an article published Monday, three days after federal agents raided his home and office in the Washington-area.

“President Donald Trump’s Ukrainian policy today is no more consistent than the execution of search warrants on my home and office last Friday,” Bolton said in his opinion letter to the Washington examiner.

He added: “Trump’s negotiations could be their last roster, as well as his Nobel Peace Prize, between Ukraine, Russia, several European countries and the United States, in the chaos, haste and lack of any obvious thought conference.”

Federal agents searched Bolton’s home last Friday. The FBI confirmed that “court-authorized law enforcement activities” occurred near his home in Bolton, Maryland, and the search was reportedly related to his handling of confidential information.

Bolton, who served in Trump’s first administration, has become a president’s criticism in recent years.

“The administration is trying to disguise the chaos behind social media posts, such as Trump’s comparison of Russian President Vladimir Putin with then-Vice President Richard Nixon in a famous kitchen debate with Nikita Khrushchev. Why Trump is going to resign with the only president who resigned in shame is unclear, it’s unclear.”

Since returning to office in January, Trump and his administration have been working hard to end the Ukrainian war, but have little luck. The president recently met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Washington, DC.

In an interview aired on Sunday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Ukraine “has the right to exist” but added warnings about territorial-related rights.

“Ukraine has the right to survive as long as it has to let people go,” Lavrov said. “The people they call terrorists, they call it species, in the referendum – several referendums held in Novarosia in Donbas, Crimea, decided that they belong to Russian culture and government, and were in power because of the coup, which is currently determined by the Russians.”

The mountain has been contacted by the White House for comment.
