Han plans to end the show the same way she started it. Eating in the caravan.
Han refuses to come out and talk to Foreman Dan because she’s “too cold,” and she decides to discuss plans over the phone from her hideout.
Realizing how strapped the girls were for cash this week, Dan was surprised to hear that Han was still unnecessarily painting the walls of her pool house.
It feels like Han has a stick on his back, focusing on small details at the expense of the big picture (in this case completing a huge garden space).
She did the same thing to the shed last week. There is also the former garage.
Kan, frustrated to find Han hiding in the caravan after being covered in mud, sniped: “I was trying to have some fun in there and you were doing something fucking stupid.”

Can left Han sulking in the caravan.
Can also reminds Han that they are already behind. While everyone else was making progress in their gardens, Han was baking some peanut butter bagels and marveling at the rendering of the cabin’s walls.
“I’m not doing what everyone else is doing,” Han protests, while Kan pleads with her to be sensible, since the block has a minimal budget and an entire garden to complete.
Han was unmoved and shouted, “I’m going to do what I want to do!”
“So where will we be? Bottom of the leaderboard,” Can countered.
“Why don’t we choose something simple now? Something cheap? We don’t have the money.”
She has a point. But for Han, Can felt like she had lost trust in her vision and ability to get the job done. Plus, her dad is about to arrive on site to help her with her job (minimum wage).
Han’s father – who was also her first choice for The Block – assured her over the phone that rendering the cabin walls could be done. So, that’s what she’s going to do, come hell or high water.
Can don’t believe it.
“I think we’re just figuring out where to focus our efforts, Han,” Can said sagely.
“A shed is a shed. A shed is a shed. That’s it. Should we be focusing on the wider garden?”
Can’s last two weeks on The Block were not happy.
When Han persuades her significant other to stop teasing her, she spits, “I love you, but I hate you now.”
Remarkably, even with all this happening, Han is still talking about buying a sauna.
When Can showed her the ledger to prove how little money there was this week, Han seemed to think the money was still lurking somewhere.
“You’re not a builder. You don’t know how much things cost. You’re overreacting,” Han reasoned.
Ben found out he had to remove a $20,000 concrete slab.
Meanwhile, Can regrets splurging on some of Han’s previous advice. Like expensive wine refrigerators and changing the layout of the house. Oh, and let’s not forget the unfinished shed.
It’s not just the girls who are in trouble. Ben and Emma hit a roadblock when Dan, the foreman, walked by and told them that their $20,000 concrete slab wasn’t up to code. It was too steep and needed to be pulled up and redone.
The setback left the normally optimistic couple feeling uncharacteristically glum.
Today is Britt’s 30th birthday, but she’s in no mood to celebrate, even with Alicia’s balloons.
Britt also fell into a slump. Although Britt received a bunch of helium balloons and a celebratory meal to celebrate her 30th birthday, she was in no mood for a party.
Instead, she and Taz sneaked off to have their own private dinner, not telling anyone else they weren’t attending the celebration for Britt.
The reason for Britt’s depression is that their shed is non-compliant and needs to be replaced before the house goes to auction.
The couple reluctantly agreed to remove the tables and chairs and add more wine storage, making the space more like a cellar than a speakeasy.
In typical fashion, Sonny wasn’t too upset to hear the backlash against Britt and Taz’s shack.
“Why, should I do this? Rules are rules,” he shrugged.
Matt was less cautious, dancing in the streets and gleefully singing “Disobedience.”
Following Dave Franklin’s advice, Matt and Robbie invested in a giant bottle tree. The 4.2m tree will connect to a yard already filled with novelties such as a pickleball court and a giant fireplace.
Alicia, on the other hand, after a few laughs about “the big log that put Sonny up” (the gazebo), adopted a “less is more” approach to her landscaping, arguing that “just because you have space, doesn’t mean you have to fill it all up.”
