Gavin and Raylee McLeod won the award a few years ago at Tuggerah McDonalds.
There has been a lot of changes in the Central Coast since Gavin and Raylee McLeod were 15 years old, and at the counter counter at McDonalds.
In 2020, NorthConnex’s travel time between Sydney and Terrigal was cut by an hour and it was a wonderful day.
Big money has started moving in, including celebrities like former supermodel Jennifer Hawkins and her husband Jake Wall, who bought “Knockdown” in Terrigal in 2022.
That same year, Atlassian co-founder Scott Farquhar and his wife Kim Jackson stole nearly $11 million in the beachfront at North Avoca.
Now McLeods sells pride, an incredible beachfront home called Ocean House that took four years to build in Wamberal.

Big real estate set to crush price records
Wamberal 57 Ocean View Drive is located in the 1014 m2 seafront neighborhood.
The six-bedroom seven-bedroom home with a four-car garage, Mat Steinwede, listed with a price guide of $25 million, aims to eliminate the Central Coast record.
“We both like to work in all kinds of capacity at McDonald’s, from working at the front desk to senior management,” Gavin said.
“Over the years, we have bought and sold 10 restaurants from the Central Coast to Newcastle.”
They sold a lot of giants at that time and in 2019 they could buy a small beach cabin with DA on the 1014m2 block of 57 Ocean View Drive.
“We lived there for a few years and revised the plan,” Gavin said.
“I like this house.
“It’s private and quiet…you can sit in the spa and the sunken lounge and no one can see you as they walk past the beach.
“And, you can enjoy stunning views of the moonlight, sunrise and earth’s lights.”

This Grade 4 home took four years to build. The lift slides between each level.
Even a geothermal pool is smart: it cleans itself and has an Olympic-class swimming jet.
But now that their three children have moved out, they are looking for a downsized size, and Steinwede is confident that the property will set a new benchmark to smash the Central Coast record of homes in Wagstaffe in 2022 by $16.2 million.
“The Wymboral home has a construction distance of $22 million, and I just sold a knockdown for $11.5 million,” Stanway said.
“It’s probably the best home I’ve ever been to, with amazing craftsmanship and architecture.
“It’s like a work of art on the beach.”
The collaboration between architect White + Dickson and high-end builder Tecorp, on a 1014m2 block, is equipped with state-of-the-art technology throughout the process and every luxury you can imagine, including high-speed commercial lifts that slide between all four levels.

NorthConnex opening is a game changer on the Central Coast, Steinway said.
“We have beautiful beaches, just an hour from Sydney,” he said.

McGrath Agent Mat Steinwede: “We have beautiful beaches, just an hour from Sydney.”

There are six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
“NorthConnex has changed our access rights so you don’t have to travel for a few hours to reach Byron or to the South to Hyams Beach.
“It makes sense for a family – you can’t let your kids sit behind for more than an hour or two, forget it!”
House prices in Wamberal have risen 44% in the five years since NorthConnex opened, with a median of $1.55 million and a median of $1.44 million in Terrigal, PropTrack data shows.
Copacabana’s growth was even higher, up 75%, over $1.63 million, to 66%, to $1.69, to $1.69.
By comparison, Kiama has a growth rate of 45%, while the South Coast Hyams Beach grew by 33%.

NorthConnex must be a factor in the rise in Central Coast prices, said Angus Moore, senior economist at Proptrack.
“Connectivity is something that many buyers value,” he said.
“The change after excitement means people are closely related to commuting and life close to the city, which prefers more enveloping areas of our cities, such as the Central Coast, which usually offer cheaper homes while still being able to transport.
“Since the pandemic began, prices have risen by more than 50%, and we will have more millions of dollars in sales on the Central Coast than before.”
