Authorities announced on Monday that the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) allegedly arrested more than 600 people in five days of action related to the violent Sinaloa drug cartel.
The DEA agent also seized 420 shots, nearly $13 million in cash and assets, as well as including 714,707 counterfeit drugs, 926 pounds of fentanyl powder, 4,870 pounds of methamphetamine, 16,466 pounds of cocaine and 36.5 pounds of methylphenyl aniline and 36.5 pounds of methylphenyl aniline.
“These results show the full weight of the DEA’s commitment to protecting the American people,” DEA administrator Terrance Cole said in a statement. “Every kilogram of poison is caught, every dollar is taken from the cartel, and every arrest we cause represents life saved and defends the community.”
He added: “DEA will not relax until the Sinaloa cartel is removed from top to bottom.”

Sinaloa Cartel was co-founded by the infamous Mexican drug Kingpin Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzman.
According to DEA’s estimates, thousands of Sinaloa members, employees and facilitators currently operate in at least 40 countries, mainly transporting synthetic drugs to accumulate their destiny.

The August operation included DEA agents from 23 domestic field departments and seven foreign regions working from August 25 to August 29.
Trump reportedly authorized the Pentagon to use military force to oppose terrorist-designated cartels last month, after granting troops control of federal land on the southern border and sending troops into organized drug crimes in the country.
