President Trump will hold a cabinet meeting at the White House Tuesday morning, the day after his visit with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where the two discussed the war with Hamas in Gaza and last month’s strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
The president warned on Monday that the Trump administration has not ruled out more strikes in the context of threats when he was willing to restart nuclear talks.
Reciprocal tariffs may begin on August 1, the sixth time Trump has rekindled the trade war since Monday’s announcement. The president also said the Pentagon would stop on certain cargoes last week to suspend Ukrainian weapons, thereby restoring other Ukrainian weapons.
The president may also talk about the “big, beautiful” spending and tax bill he signed it into the law on July 4.
The event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. ET.
