Hero Policeman Brendan Williams’ Hamlyn Heights family home has sold more than expected.
A Melbourne policeman honored for his heroism in a frightening four-hour crime spree, sold his Geelong family home in Hamlin Heights for $886,000, with a huge price hope.
Four bidders registered for the auction, three of which were actively competing.
The result at 10 Sycamore St exceeded the $850,000-$880,000 price guide to $886,000.

Senior police officer Brendan Williams, a canine, gave his life to his life in April 2021 to help stop the knife-wielding man stabbing his brother, attacking officers with a blade, and then fleeing a stolen highway patrol vehicle.
The four-hour rampage unfolded in northern Melbourne, where the criminal drove in a suburb including Mickleham, and then crashed into a police car on Sydney Rd, where he was captured with the help of Mr Williams and his dog Blue.
