“Buyers took a snapshot judgment when they picked it up in the house, and the driveway was one of the first things they saw,” said real estate expert Daniel Blake.

“Simple, cheap and easy to shovel,” said real estate agent Andrew Fortune.

“The curved design also improves privacy and provides a more dynamic approach to frontline entrances that many buyers appreciate,” Blake explained.

The circular driveway is perfect for a manor or charming old home, and many buyers are looking for a driveway, which means they don’t have to back off.

“The horseshoe driveway is perfect for a home with a lot of visitors as it has two entrances and exits,” Fortune notes.

Y-shaped
Y-shaped driveways are less common, but are usually found in houses built on irregularly shaped or sloping lots, especially in rural or forested areas.
“They provide flexibility to surround or separate access points, such as one branch leading to a garage, or another branch entering a worship or mission area,” Blake said.
S-shaped
The S-shaped lane has a very elegant, exterior feel. This style is poplar trees from Mediterranean plantations or high-end modern farmhouse-style houses.
“It creates a grand scene that sticks to the buyer’s mind,” Blake explained.
semicircle
Semicircular driveways are a good compromise for mid-sized lots and are usually paired with ranch-style or single-story homes. They are more common in older communities.
“The semicircular driveway has a classic look and allows for smooth exits,” Fortune said.
Double
A two-lane wide enough to park two cars side by side is becoming a standard expectation for many buyers today.
It adds flexibility to homeowners who may have multiple cars, boats, motorcycles, or even home businesses that require additional parking.
