$27.6 million mirrored Airbnb mansion marked “Most Spectacular”

This famous Airbnb seems to disappear into its natural environment, which may be an ideal holiday retreat for those seeking a private escape.

The mirrored residence is known as the “Invisible House” and was designed by filmmakers Chris Hanley and Frank Gehry in collaboration with Tomas Osinski.

Set in a 36 hectare living room, the house has a 30m swimming pool, three bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The slender minimalist house spans 510 m2 and has a separate prefabricated house on the wheels.

The house resembles a large, mirrored rectangular container with 3.5 metre ceilings and plenty of space for private enjoyment or entertaining.

The home also has a unique interior design concept that provides an overall human experience.

A noteworthy feature is the indoor 30m, solar-heated swimming pool that extends along the west wall of the house.

Here, Movie Night Under the Stars is a unique dramatic event thanks to the 20 m2 white walls designed for the end of the pool to screen the movie.

Inside, there is a world-class chef’s kitchen with double ovens, a separate refrigerator and freezer, marble surfaces and Miele, Sub-Zero and Wolf Eppliances, all fixed to concrete floors.

You will also find the entire walls of sliding glass doors that open to breathtaking scenery that blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living spaces. For real bold, there is also a full glass, exposed shower.

In the main suite, highlights include a resort-style bathroom with soaking bathtub, floating wash basin and shower. The home even comes with special filters to remove dust, bacteria and viruses.
