The neighborhood has been back for another year, showing off the Victorian region again – this time in the popular town of Daylesford.
Filming began in early March, and contestants immediately became famous in town by attending Daylesford’s annual Chillout Festival and by sourcing items in many local HomeWares stores.

The 2025 block will be on Daylesford
The 2025 block is being built and filmed in the Victorian town of Daylesford, about half an hour northwest of Melbourne.
The site is located in Middleton Fields of the new housing development Hygge property, located at the east entrance of the town, opposite the popular Farmer Arms Hotel.

This is the second time the production attempted to shoot on Daylesford – it was moved to Phillip Island last year after a handful of residents opposed the show to town.
However, this year, the vast majority of locals have embraced the attention of actors and staff, especially many business owners who support the show’s attention that it will be placed in a small tourist town.
Daylesford has a large LGBTQIA+ community, as well as a very active creative and art industry. Located on the border of the famous Hepburn Springs Hot Springs Region, the town is a stone’s throw from breweries, regional parks and trails.

When will the next block be on TV?
The first episode of the 2025 block will be aired on July 27.
What are the new features of the 2025 block?
The Daylesford neighborhood will have some twists and turns.
1. Brand new homes to be built on the streets
This is the first time the neighborhood has built a brand new home inside a brand new home. The sustainability of these homes is much larger than other homes planned for Middleton Field Development.
2. Each house has the same floor plan
The team will compete on a uniform race field, with each house having the same floor plan – depending on the contestants put their own spin on the house.
In the past, contestants changed the floor plan the show designed for them – so, while all teams will have the same floor plan to start – anyone guesses what they will look like when the auction hammer drops.
3. This is a tool that falls down every night and the contestants will live in the caravan
Rumors have been made that there will be no temporary staff using the tools every night this year and the website is locked.
But history shows us that contestants sometimes show off the rules, so we have the opportunity to see controversial breakthroughs.
When the site is locked, the contestants will live in the caravan.
4. Rabbit joins the block
This year, Block will also be partnered with Bunnings as a sponsor, ending its long-term partnership with rival hardware chain MITER 10.
The rest of the Hygge property has not yet built Middleton Field Development, leaving enough room for the sponsored village.

Who is the judge this year?
Marty Fox returns to Daylesford as judge in his second year.
Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer also returned as judges.

Will Foreman Keith return?
Fans expect foreman Keith to return in 2025 due to distance from Phillip Island, but it has been confirmed that Dan Reilly will continue to be the sole neighborhood foreman in Daylesford.
Will Adrian Portelli bid in the 2025 block?
Lambo Guy Adrian Portelli, the serial bidder of the block, has been a staple of the show’s auctions for the past three seasons. Last year, he purchased all five properties this season from Phillip Island.

Mr Portelli said at the auction that 2024 will be his bid for the neighborhood last year – buying all five houses “bombing”.
Time will tell him whether he sticks to the gun.
Without Mr. Portelli’s game, Danny Wallis may return after leaving empty-handed in the past two years. However, there is no guarantee that the entrepreneur has recently sold several of his investment properties.
Are there any babies this year?
Last year, Haydn had to leave the block temporarily in episode two, while his wife gave birth to her first child.
This year, Scott Cam will be a grandfather throughout the middle of the season, with his son Charlie welcomed Little Tiggy in April.
